Inventor of Cold Liquid Interlayer (CLI) manufacturing technology.
The idea for this technology came about in his craft company specializing in high-end interior design, the Thomas Hofberger workshops in Taufkirchen near Munich. In addition to his technical passion and finesse, Thomas Hofberger has always been very interested in the development of new finishing and bonding technologies for stones and glass. Since taking over the business from his father, he has operated a laboratory area in his workshops for professional research, development and testing of coating and adhesive technologies.
The entire CLI technology and its patents have been transferred to the newly founded IndustrialTech start-up CLI Technologies GmbH in Munich.
Thomas Hofberger manages the development areas of our company CLI Technologies as CTO.

We are working long-term with a well-known plant manufacturer on the engineering and market launch of a fully automated CLI laminated glass production line for GLASSTECH 2022. Its customers are laminated safety glass manufacturers. The focus of the system today is on the production of high-volume formats for facades, fire protection glass and glass roof constructions.
